Privacy information
Privacy and analytics
This page explains the site’s analytics choices and the limited outbound click information sent while analytics is on.
Analytics defaults to on
Optional Google Analytics 4 is available and on by default on this version of the site. You can turn it off or back on at any time through Privacy choices in the footer.
What the choice record contains
After you make a choice, the site stores one local browser record containing only your analytics state, the policy version, and the time of your choice. This record is stored in local storage so the site can remember whether analytics is accepted or rejected.
What is sent while analytics is on
Normal Google Analytics page-view collection can include the page address and title, referrer information, and browser or device information handled by Google Analytics. Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies such as names beginning with _ga.
When an outbound Amazon link is selected while analytics is on, the site sends an outbound link event containing the Amazon URL, the visible link text, and the link’s ascsubtag. The subtag combines the page, product-card placement, and ASIN so the click can be matched to Amazon’s SubTag reporting.
Google data transfer
When optional analytics is allowed, the browser connects to Google to load the analytics script. Analytics collection is configured for https://sgtm.sharkjets.com, the server container derived from this site’s production hostname, which can forward information to Google for processing under Google’s services and policies. Analytics is not used for advertising or ad personalization. Sharkjets Gear keeps advertising consent denied and disables Google Signals and ad-personalization signals.
Change or withdraw your choice
When optional analytics is available, use Privacy choices in the footer to turn it off or back on. Turning analytics off updates analytics consent to denied and removes available first-party Google Analytics cookies for this site. A script already loaded on the current page can remain in memory until the page is closed or reloaded, but the site drops later analytics events after withdrawal.
Browser privacy signals
The site does not change its analytics setting in response to browser privacy signals. Use Privacy choices in the footer to turn optional analytics off or back on.
Amazon links without analytics
Outbound Amazon links work whether analytics is accepted or rejected. Opening an Amazon link is a separate visit to Amazon and is subject to Amazon’s own privacy practices.
